How are the flowers delivered?

Your bouquet will be courier delivered by APC direct to your address in bespoke midnight blue presentation boxes with your message and care card. If you or your recipient is not there to receive your Isles of Scilly Scented Narcissi, our courier company will leave them as instructed to by your delivery instructions. If you leave a contact number for your recipient, they will try and contact them to arrange a delivery or rearrange a delivery.

Where can you deliver to?

We can deliver to any postal address in the UK including Northern Ireland, Isles of Wight, Isle of Man, and Scottish Highlands and Islands. If you cannot find the address you are trying to send to on our website, or have a query about sending to somewhere not listed above, please don't hesitate to call us on 01720 423767. 

When can you deliver?

We deliver on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday; we can also arrange a Saturday delivery for an additional fee. (Please see below for Saturday charges.)

We are unable to deliver on Sundays, Mondays or Bank Holidays due to transport limitations from the Isles of Scilly on these days/dates. 

What are the prices for a Saturday Delivery?

A Saturday delivery costs an additional £26.40 to any bouquet you send. Please call or email us to arrange this service: orders@scentednarcissi.co.uk or 01720 423767.

What time will my bouquet be delivered?

The time of delivery of a bouquet depends on the route of our courier driver. All bouquets will be delivered between 8am and 6pm, although we cannot specify an exact time of delivery.

If you would like to receive your bouquet at a specific time, the following options are available at an additional cost from Tuesday to Friday:

Pre-12: £7.20

Pre-10: £13.20

Pre-9: £18.00

Can you deliver same day?

Sorry, we are unable to deliver any items on the same day an order is placed as our location in the Isles of Scilly creates logistical limitations. For next day delivery we would need your order by 8am (subject to availability). We would normally recommend you allow 2-3 days for orders to be processed and delivered, and an extra day for deliveries to highlands, islands and further afield.

How much does delivery cost?

We offer standard free delivery on our Isles of Scilly flowers to mainland UK. Some geographical areas such as islands and highlands will incur an additional delivery charge which will show during the order process. What if the recipient is out at the time of delivery?

Our courier will ask for the recipient’s signature upon delivery. Should the recipient be unavailable at the time of delivery, the courier will attempt to find a safe place to leave your Scented Narcissi but this cannot be guaranteed. When placing your order, please give instructions regarding a suitable location. If the courier does not deem it safe to leave the flowers they will leave an attempted delivery card to say they have been, and will take them back to the depot for re-delivery on the following business day. To help avoid these issues please give a contact phone number for the recipient.

Can I deliver to an address that is not residential?

Yes, you may prefer to have your flowers sent to a business address, rather than a home address if there is unlikely to be anyone at home to take delivery. Flowers sent to hospitals, residential homes, schools & business addresses will generally be delivered to a main reception.

Do you deliver to hospitals?

Yes we can deliver to hospitals, but please check in advance that the hospital will allow fresh flowers to be delivered to the wards, as some do not accept them and we cannot be held responsible for this.

How can I check they have been delivered?

We track the delivery of your flowers, and are in constant contact with our courier company to pre-empt and resolve any delivery issues.  Please contact us if you need any further information on the delivery of your bouquets.

What happens if my bouquet is delivered late?

Every effort will be made to ensure that orders are delivered on the required date. On very rare occasions, due to circumstances beyond our control, your delivery may be delayed. We will endeavour to keep you informed if there are any problems. We will not be held responsible for items that are delayed or not delivered due to incorrect details. In the unlikely event of unavailability of narcissi due to circumstances outside of our control, such as poor weather conditions, we will offer you an alternative delivery date, or give you the option to cancel.

What do I do if the flowers are damaged on arrival?

Your flowers will be handled very carefully on their journey however, in the unlikely event that your flowers are damaged, please contact us within 24 hours - we cannot be responsible for claims outside of this timeframe.
