Placing an order
Scented Narcissi are available for approximately 6 months, from late September to the middle of April, depending on the crops and the weather. We can take orders weeks or months in advance to the delivery date. By placing an order through our site, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts
After placing an online order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a product. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you a dispatch confirmation email when the product is dispatched. The contract will relate only to those products whose dispatch we have confirmed in the dispatch confirmation. We will not be obliged to supply any other products which may have been part of your order until the dispatch of such products has been confirmed in a separate Dispatch Confirmation.
In most instances, deliveries will be made by APC Couriers. During the checkout process, you will be required to provide us with delivery instructions. This should contain information that will be helpful to the delivery driver so that they may successfully complete delivery in cases where the recipient is not available to sign for their parcel. In most cases this prevents the driver from returning the flowers to the recipient’s local delivery depot since this can cause delays and unnecessary inconvenience. As standard, we will also instruct APC Couriers to operate on a ‘leave safe’ basis, with the delivery person using their best judgement on whether it is indeed safe to leave the parcel unattended at the address without first obtaining a signature; they may also attempt delivery to a neighbour, or leave the parcel elsewhere on the property that they deem safe. Also requested during the checkout process is a telephone number for the recipient; this is not used for marketing purposes, and is only used in the event that we or the delivery driver require clarification on finding their address or where parcels might be left safe on the day of delivery. At peak times, or due to extraordinary circumstances, drivers may experience delays or run out of time to complete all deliveries; in these cases, parcels are put out for delivery the following day. These instances are infrequent, and we experience a 97% success rate with APC completing delivery on the customer’s selected date. In certain geographical locations, namely Scottish Offshore, Northern Ireland and Isle of Man addresses, delivery will be by Royal Mail 1st class service.

Conformity of the products
We warrant to you that any product purchased from us through our site will, on delivery, conform in all material respects with its description and be of satisfactory quality. Flowers may be delivered in bud or with one or more florets open, depending on the variety. Please refer to our care section for information about how best to bring your flowers into full bloom and extend their life. Please note, in line with our logo change, we are phasing out our original style packaging, this means your box may vary slightly from that shown on the website. Every care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and specifications of our products on this web site are correct, however due to the nature of the product, a variation in the actual goods can occur. In the unlikely event of supply difficulties, Scented Narcissi reserves the right to substitute any product with any other type of equal quality and value. We do endeavour to send our customers their preferred colour of narcissi – however availability is subject to crops and weather constraints and therefore it is possible that we will have to substitute one colour or variety for another. Prices quoted include VAT at 20%, packaging and delivery costs. Some geographical areas will incur an extra delivery charge- for more details on this, please click here. Product prices (and any supplementary delivery charges) are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you a Dispatch Confirmation. Despite our best efforts, items in our online shop may occasionally be mispriced. We verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures and if an item’s correct price is lower than the price shown online, we will charge you the lower amount and send you the item. If the item’s correct price is higher than the price shown online, we will contact you for instructions before dispatch.
Online payment must be by credit or debit card. We accept payment with Visa, MasterCard, Switch/Maestro, Delta. When your order has been placed, you will receive an email from Scented Narcissi to confirm the payment has been successful. Our prices are in sterling but we accept card payments from anywhere in the world. This site uses the Sage Pay system for online credit card transactions. Sage Pay is the most popular online payment system in the UK. All payment information is transmitted in secure mode and is encrypted using the highest levels of online security encryption available. Firewalls within the Sage Pay system prevent any unauthorised access to your information. Credit card details are captured within the Sage Pay secure system, and no card details are stored on your computer or computers belonging to Scented Narcissi. To protect credit and debit cardholders, all payments are screened using 3D Secure (MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa) and by an independent fraud prevention service. We take all complaints extremely seriously and aim to rectify any problem quickly and effectively. We aim to respond to customer service matters within one working day, to be resolved as soon as possible. We will always keep you informed throughout the process of resolving your complaint and we will keep the details of your complaint confidential.
Cancellation of Orders
If you should wish to cancel an order previously placed, we will require three full working days prior to the delivery date.
Returns Policy for non-perishable gift items
Please note this policy excludes all our flower products as these are perishable goods and exempt from this legislation. Should you wish to return a non-perishable item, you must confirm this in writing within 7 working days of receipt and return the packaged item to us at the address given above. The item(s) must be returned to us unused and in as new condition. You will be liable for all postage costs incurred as a result of returning an item to us. We cannot issue a refund until we have received the goods. We recommend you obtain proof of posting when you return any goods to us. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Events outside our control
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (Force Majeure Event).Our performance is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will have an extension of time for performance for the duration of that period. We will use our reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution.
Variations to the terms and conditions
We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time. You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time that you order products from us, unless any change to those policies or these terms and conditions is required to be made by law or governmental authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you)

How to Enter
To enter, you must:
1. Snap a photo of your Scented Narcissi, and upload it to Instagram.
2. Make sure you’re following @scentednarcissi on Instagram.
3. Share your submission using #scentednarcissigiveaway and @scentednarcissi.
Entries will be judged by Scented Narcissi on a combination of creativity and number of likes; entrants must also be following @scentednarcissi on Instagram and have tagged the photo with #scentednarcissigiveaway and @scentednarcissi. All submissions for the ‘Win 1 of 5 Bouquets’ contest must be completed between Tuesday 24 January 2017 and 11:59pm GMT on Friday 3 March, 2017. Five (5) winners will be selected after the final contest closing date, and will be announced on Instagram on Monday 6 March 2017 and will also be contacted by private message. Winners must claim their prize bouquet by Monday 13 March 2017.
Receiving your Prize
To claim their prize, winners must respond by Instagram private message with their delivery address and preferred delivery date selected from our advertised free delivery dates and services, excluding Friday 24 March 2017 and Thursday 13 April 2017. Prize bouquets must be delivered by Wednesday 12 April 2017.
Entrants agree that we may use their submitted photos on Instagram and other social media as well as in other marketing media and that we will credit their Instagram handle as the source.
