The Blue Box Difference

Open skies. Atlantic air. Naturally grown.

Our flowers aren't designed to be uniform. They are grown outdoors, selected with the season and gathered from farms across our islands. Every stem carries something of Scilly with it — the climate, the landscape and the generations of knowledge behind its growing.

Grown As Nature Intended

Our narcissi aren't grown beneath glass or protected by plastic coverings. They grow outside, exposed to the changing island weather and the fresh Atlantic air.

This natural way of growing produces strong, hardy stems and flowers with wonderful character and longevity.

They may not all be perfectly identical — and that's rather the point. These are real, field-grown flowers, shaped by nature rather than controlled by it.

A Season of Scent

One of the things that makes our season so interesting is that the flowers are constantly changing.

By working with farms across the Isles of Scilly, we have access to more than 16 different varieties between October and April. Some arrive early, others much later; some are beautifully delicate, while others have a wonderfully powerful fragrance.

It means there's always something new coming into flower.

One season. More than 16 varieties. Countless scents.

Scented by Nature

No two varieties are quite alike.

From delicate and fresh to rich, heady and unmistakably floral, each narcissus has its own fragrance. And because different varieties flower throughout the season, the scent inside our blue boxes changes naturally as the months pass.

A different flower. A different fragrance. A different moment in the season.

Small Farms. A Bigger Story.

When someone chooses a box of our narcissi, they're buying more than flowers. Each order helps support the small family farms that continue to grow narcissi across the Isles of Scilly and contributes to an industry that has been part of island life for generations. It helps keep fields in production, skills alive and a remarkable flower-growing tradition flourishing. Beautiful flowers. A living island tradition.

“Freshly gathered, beautifully fragrant — a celebration of the season.”
